"Andrew and Lesley were perfect hosts and worked tirelessly to ensure a great time was had by all.
Food on board was amazing, particularly when served at such beautiful locations.
Moorings were perfect with a well planned mix of quiet bays for swimming / snorkeling and more bustling marinas.
We would certainly come back for more"

Dear Lesley and Andrew,
Well, you accomplished the impossible! I never thought I would be able to say that I really enjoyed a trip that involved being on the water.
As you know this trip was Peters dream holiday for his 60th birthday and I was prepared to make the immense sacrifice. But I had a wonderful time I loved the places we visited, the food on board was superb, and the Anam Cara really comfortable. I just stayed on deck for hours watching the beautiful coastline sail by. You are both wonderful hosts and thank you for ensuring that we all enjoyed the trip so much.
All best wishes, Peter and Michele

Hello Lesley and Andrew,
Thank you so much for making our recent holiday such a wonderful experience. Having always done 'bare boat' sailing, we were a little apprehensive about being on someone else's boat. We needn't have worried. You were such charming hosts, it was a joy to be with you and having such an unflappable, experienced captain and capable crew made us feel we were in safe hands. All the hassle of finding a secure anchorage or somewhere to tie up for the night was taken care of and we were simply able to relax and enjoy all the comforts offered by the Anam Cara (air conditioning on a sailing boat - wow!), the brilliant onboard catering, the beautiful places we visited and sailing along the stunning coastline.
Thank you both so much. With best wishes from Sylvia and Diz

Hey Lesley and Andrew
Just want to thank you for a really fabulous time. The rest of the trip went flawlessly. You really should visit Ephesus. It was spectacular and we had a really great guide.
Then stayed the night in the little Turkish town Sirence It was lovely. The food was a close second to yours.
Thanks again for a really wonderful time. I will definitely recommend the trip to all our friends and pass your names along.

Hi Lesley and Andrew,
Have just returned and am sitting at my desk in a floating cocktail of jet lag and gentle rocking - yes still rocking!
Finally got home after an arduous 30 odd hours - it’s so far away our little island.
We had such a magnificent time and want to thank you both for making the week the best holiday we’ve ever had - and you know how many holidays we have!
Much love,
Deb, John and Rebecca

Our family of five adults were aboard the Anam Cara for seven fantastic days and six nights during October 2007.
We sailed south east from the Gulf of Fethiye as far west as Kale with the highlight being our visit to the town of Kastellorizon, on the Greek Island of Megisti. The blue grotto there is an absolute must!
We called at Kas, Kalkan Kekova on our return from Kale. We explored crusader castles, sarcophagi and other ancient relics dating back thousands of years. We caught tuna whilst sailing, snorkeled in crystal clear anchorages and Andrew was happy to teach us the ‘ropes’ of sailing a luxury yacht. He was confident, experienced and always warmly welcoming to all on board.

Lesley’s cooking was professional and unforgettable, with a combination of traditional Turkish and Greek meals as well as modern western cooking. Meal time was looked forward to by us all. Her moussaka in particular is still a conversation point.
Our week on Anam Cara was perfect. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly fantastic yachting holiday!

Dear Andrew and Lesley,
Thank you for a wonderful vacation aboard your yacht Anam Cara. We very much enjoyed your hospitality and all the good cooking Lesley provided and all the beautiful coves Andrew selected for our lunches. Thank you for planning this exciting itinerary for our sail along the Lycian Coast.
We wish you much happiness and success in the years to come.

Dear Andrew and Lesley,
What a wonderful holiday we had with you on your boat Anam Cara.
Sun, sea, wine and good company! You looked after us superbly. Beautiful bays to swim in and enjoy your wonderful lunches Lesley! I put on seven pounds so perhaps a little less wine and a little more boiled (I mean boiled!) fish at the restaurants might have been in order!
You allowed us a real taste of what it might be like to live in Turkey, from introducing us to your favourite shopkeepers in the market, to the best bays in Skopia Limani and the South Coast. Fethiye is a terrific town, full of interest and friendly locals, and the mud baths on the Dalyan river trip were great fun.
We hope to come and see you again later this year.

Thank you both for a wonderful holiday.
Anam Cara is a stunning yacht and you both made us feel so at home and welcome aboard.
The Gulf of Fethiye truly is a sailing paradise and the many small bays, (Tomb Bay, Wall Bay, Sarsalla Bay), carved out of the rock faces and surrounded by lush greenery, were idyllic.
The food was excellent both aboard (please pass on a particular commendation to Lesley for her Lasagne) and ashore. Your suggestion to enjoy an evening dining in the Old Fish Market in Fethiye made for a most memorable meal. We have a video of me belly dancing with “Saddam Hussein“ whilst he played the Bozuki (Well it certainly looked like him!)
We hope to sail with you again soon.

How did I meet Andrew and Lesley? Well, I wandered down the pontoon in Fethiye Marina and saw a beautiful sailing boat from my home town of Bristol.
The Captain (Andrew) invited us on board and within minutes I’d fallen in love with their stunning 50 ft. home.
Ten days later myself and my 11 year old son Joshua were arriving for our sailing holiday.
Andrew and Lesley are an attentive delightful and warm couple, always checking to see we were happy, nothing was too much trouble.
The boat sailed like a dream. On several days dolphins were jumping next to the bow. The weather was hot, the locals treat you like friends and Lesley’s cooking was a treat to savour.
Andrew had endless patience with my 11 year old son and spent hours teaching him and showing him sailing techniques.
What will I miss? - Everything!
Would I come back? - Already checking my dates!
What have I gained? - More sailing experience and two great friends.
