Above Deck Layout

Anam Cara’s deck layout is ideal for exhilarating sailing, sunbathing and dining alfresco. It comprises three areas: The fore deck, the cockpit and the transom at the rear of the boat.

The Fore Deck

The fore deck has custom made mattresses for sunbathing, ideal for sun worshipers and for those just wanting a bit of peace and quiet away from the sailing activity in the cockpit.

The Cockpit

The cockpit is the heart of the boat with twin steering wheels, navigation instruments and sail handling equipment. There is a dining area with opening table to seat eight in comfort, and fitted cockpit cushions. At the rear of the cockpit is a stainless steel gas barbeque.

The whole cockpit area is shaded from the sun by a large bimini hood and protection from spray is provided by the companionway spray hood, this is usually  folded down to allow better visibility and a refreshing through breeze! 

The Transom

The transom is the main route on and off the boat. A swim ladder is provided to allow easy access to and from the water and a hot and cold mixer shower is available to wash off salty water after a refreshing swim.

A purpose built passarelle is used when in marinas to provide safe, secure access on and off the yacht.
